Situation before the contract and client requirements
The Žužemberk elementary school had an ill-suited oil boiler for heating the building. The client wanted a more appropriate and cost-friendly solution.

Analysis of the current heating system and preparation of energy efficient solutions – local woodchips were selected as the most cost efficient energy source for heating.
A 150kW boiler on woodchips with new heating water fuel stores and a water distribution system with smart regulation was then installed. The boiler produces more than 450 MWh per year, enough to cover annual demand.
